Trying Out McDonald's Fish & Fries

Normally, when it comes to fish & chips, the only place I know that serves the best fish & chips is none other than Manhattan Fish Market restaurant. However, early this November, McDonald's Malaysia introduced a fish & chips meal called the Fish & Fries, and it comes in two variations; one with single fish fillet and the other with two fish fillets, and both meals come with fries and a drink.

And so, while on my way back home from Seremban, my sister stopped by at McDonald's Bandar Seri Putra, where her two children bought their own meals, while I bought the 1 piece Fish & Fries meal.

As shown above, the Fish & Fries came in a box, along with one small cup containing tartar sauce, similar to the one used in Filet-O-Fish burger and one Medium (Regular) size drink, this one containing Sprite. This set is priced at RM12.95, while the one with two fish fillets was priced at RM17.95.

As shown above, this is how the Fish & Fries looked like inside the box. I'm sure, anyone living in the UK should know this is how a take-away fish & chips is served, except this one doesn't have a lemon wedge.

So here's the most important question, how does it taste?

From what I can say, it tasted good. In terms of price, it is cheaper than the one from Manhattan Fish Market, and this meal comes with one cup of drink, while the one at Manhattan Fish Market didn't. However, I think that the tartar sauce is too little for this meal, though.
