Untold Good Deeds: A Young Man, an Old Lady, and a Trolley (Updated: 10/02, 2215 Hrs)

Note: This writing is based on a true story that happened on the month of March, 2017. This is not an urban legend, fairy tale, or some 'Friend Of A Friend' (FOAF) stuff.

On one Saturday afternoon, a young man* was going to a supermarket to buy something, when an old lady called him out and asked him to bring a shopping trolley to carry groceries she just bought at the supermarket. That said old lady was carrying a wheeled shopping basket from the supermarket, and it was overloaded with groceries.

After being told of her situation, the young man looked for a trolley and noticed shopping trolleys with baby seats, but none of the regular shopping trolleys. So, the young man asked the security guard there for the available trolley parked nearby, but the security guard denied it, because it was strictly reserved for customers who bring a baby to the supermarket. The young man also asked about the regular shopping trolleys, where the security guard responded that one of the supermarket staffs was going to bring the shopping trolleys back to its place and the security guard also told the young man to wait for it.

After being told by the security guard to wait, the young man went back to the old lady and told her to wait, where both of them waited. Unfortunately, 3 minutes have passed; The said supermarket staff was nowhere in sight, and the trolleys did not arrive at all.

So, the young man took matters into his own hands, where he went to the parking lot where the used trolleys were placed before being carried back to the supermarket, and took one of the trolleys and brought it to the old lady in need of it. He also helped the old lady by carefully arranging the groceries she bought at the supermarket inside the trolley.

After he was done, the old lady thanked the young man for helping her, where he responded politely. She then left the supermarket for the parking lot, while the young man went inside for some light grocery shopping.
