In what might possibly my last post before I quit blogging here, it's about my (usual) visit to Comic Fiesta 2024. However, unlike my previous visits, I no longer went for a two-day visit, and instead opted for a one-day visit on Day One (Saturday), 21st December 2024. Not only that, I also made a short movie (honestly, I don't know what word I can use to describe it) of my visit there, which I already uploaded on YouTube.
THE EVENT
Like all of my visits before, I went to the event venue by train. Taking the earliest Komuter train from Bangi at 7:01 a.m, I arrived at KLCC station and started recording a video of my visit there at 8:12 a.m. Once I arrived at the convention centre, I started queueing up until about 9:50 a.m, where I finally got inside the event halls.
Once inside, I took photos and record videos both inside the halls and outside at the park. I didn't buy anything there, and I took what could possibly the least number of cosplayers' photos there. I missed out on some things, but I did manage to watch Hololive English -Justice- feature appearance at Plenary Hall for a short while.

Below is the video I made and uploaded to YouTube:
Below are some photos of cosplayers I managed to take on that day:

To be honest, I am both happy and unhappy at the same time; While I am happy that I can finally cosplay a different character than the usual, I am also unhappy due to the fact that my character was possibly unpopular with most Malaysian anime fans. I guess I'm the only one there who actually know and watched City Hunter...
Then again, it's my choice, so I have to accept it no matter what.
CONCLUSION
So, there you have it. My visit to Comic Fiesta 2024 Day One on Saturday, 21st December 2024. As written earlier, this might be my last post here, so now I decided to quit blogging and take a rest, and also start focusing on other things. As I am currently trying out video editing, I might start creating videos and posting on YouTube. The only thing that's stopping me is creative block due to depression.
As an Anime fan and also a casual cosplayer, I realised that there are drawbacks to cosplaying, such as having to withstand the heat of Malaysian weather while dressed up as my chosen character, and also having to lug around various stuff, such as backpack, merchandise (if I bought any of them), and a camera. Not ony that, there is also the problem of having to tolerate vicious insults from some people (read: MALAY NETIZENS!) who love to judge cosplayers for their hobby just because they can. Although I never experienced it first hand, just by reading those vicious insults from netizens on social media is more than enough to make me furious.
Although I rarely posed for photos as a cosplayer, I don't mind at all, since I am more interested in visiting and experiencing ACG events. After all, I love Anime, and I love visiting ACG events. In all of my visits, I rarely, if ever, encountered a visitor with poor hygiene at all. In fact, as an Anime fan and casual cosplayer, I always take good care of my personal hygiene and make sure I smell good before going to ACG events. If anyone was wondering why 'weebs' are often stereotyped as being smelly, it's probably because that said person could be wearing the same old clothes for a long time that it would smell bad even after wearing it a short while.
Which is why I always separate my clothes for special occasions...
To conclude this, it has been ten years and nine months since I started blogging on Blogger; It started off with Comic Fiesta Day One, and also ended off with Comic Fiesta Day One.
Shall I return to blogging here? I don't know yet.
And that's all there is for me to write.
